#TLDR: Being #valuable at work is more critical than being #indispensable
Being valued is a PB JAM facet. In a recent #PBJAM group, it was brought up that being indispensable at your job is not a good thing as you are making the company dependent on you and in the process become a bottleneck for the mission of the business.
We discussed this at length in session 05 (the last session of our exploration phase) of the Better You program and here is what we came out with. Being valuable to your employer is important while being indispensable to your specific job responsibilities is not good. What's the difference?
