Neuroplasticity and PB JAM

Updated: May 30, 2022

#TLDR: Science drives #PBJAM and we rely heavily on #neurosciences to provide frameworks and tools that are easy to stick to and sustainable in the long run. Here is an introduction to #neuroplastcity and how it is incorporated in #PBJAM

#Neuroplasticity is the human brain's ability to learn from experiences and change future responses. It drives how we evolve as individuals and how we respond to new as well as repeating circumstances. Any change in our behaviors has a higher chance of success and sustainability if we align it with the principles of #neuroplasticity. At #PBJAM, some of these principles are as follows:

  • Engaging in positive social interactions: Our small curated groups simulate close interactions while our Critical Friend frameworks create positive and genuine experiences

  • Participating in novel activities: Rather than utilizing established methods and tools of professional development, #PBJAM focuses on novel tools and approaches

  • Engaging in play: At #PBJAM, we avoid pedantic discussions/coaching/presentations and instead, make every interaction a live adventure play where you are the actor along with your peers trying to address your current challenges

  • Being in a stimulating environment: #PBJAM group setting, interactions, and ample materials in our #science section allow the participants to see and experience established as well as cutting edge research topics pertinent for their professional growth.

Regular participation at #PBJAM will lead to more #BDNF* in your brain and help with the growth of new neurons! That's what #neuroplasticity says... have you talked with your manager or HR about enrolling with #PBJAM? Experience the #professionaldevelopment at #moderworkplace that is driven by #science! Here is to a better you!

* #BDNF stands for Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor, which helps certain neurons and synapses with survival, growth, and differentiation. It is the superfood for neurons, and hence, for our brain.
